I collect paint chips and dried pomegranates.

I have no idea how to whistle.

I still print out directions to a destination instead of using GPS.

I’ve never worn a tie to work.

I really enjoy biting into an heirloom apple.

I love working in the studio, listening to rain and music by Handel.

I am notoriously early to everything.

I text with a Spanish keyboard and haven’t changed it to English.

I am known for the raisin scones that I bake.

I make instant friends with waiters/waitresses at restaurants.

I own enough art books to open up my own bookstore.

I am a lover of wine and own a pair of $300 wine glasses.

I once climbed a steep mountain and at the top yelled,
“I love Sue!” (my wife)

I love exploring junk yards and buying junk for my artwork.

I get up at 5am every morning without an alarm clock.

I am addicted to Emojis.

I never turn down a Lagavulin single malt scotch. Neat of course.

I am a hugger and a hand-shaker.

I never miss a chance to tell my special people that I love them.

When I get curious about a person, place or thing I need to learn everything I can about it.

Recent obsessions are Henry David Thoreau and Frederico Garcia Lorca.

These statements above make me a real person with a passion for life.
And they’ve helped me become the artist that I am today….
